Friendly and professional service. Good preparation results in a quality, lasting finish. Luke recommended Keim mineral paint instead of lime-wash for our house. Very pleased he did. Good customer support from Keim and application by Street &Sons. Results are excellent.

We recently used Luke to complete a refresh on our limewash, paint our wooden windows and repaint our weatherboard.

We have used Street and Sons for several years; the result of their work has always been impeccable. Work completed this week is another example of an efficient job carried out to time in a friendly way to result again in a perfect result; part of the work involved a frieze ( we have a historic property) with 5 colours; to paint this required great care to ensure all the details are picked out - a real example of artistic capability.

Street and Son undertook the repainting of the exterior of our lime plaster house and black barn garage. Luke and Guy are tidy in their work, pay attention to detail and are happy to offer advice if or where needed.They also oiled oak garden room and our property is now weatherproofed for the winter. We're very pleased.

The Street team was friendly, efficient and extremely reliable. We requested that they repair and repaint the lime plaster over our entire listed house. The result is excellent. They also repaired our very fragile front door and windows prior to repainting them. Altogether, we are very pleased with the result and highly recommend their services.

Luke, Guy & Millie did a tremendous job on our lime-washed 17C Grade II Listed Thatched Cottage in North Essex and they were a pleasure to have working on & around the property. From Luke’s initial visit when he provided knowledgeable advice on suitable materials, displaying a genuine empathy, understanding, and enthusiasm for old buildings and traditional methods; through to the whole team’s professional and skilful approach to carrying out the entire job, and their openness to discussing options and explaining solutions; we gained great confidence in the Streets and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Luke and his family team did a first-rate job on a kitchen and bathroom earlier in the year and then the outside of our house including a large and delicate Victorian conservatory more recently. Not only is their workmanship excellent but also they are very good at spotting issues with old buildings that need attention, and suggesting solutions. We will definitely use them again.
